You've made a great choice in considering a celebrant led ceremony. You really can rip up the rule book, with this unique and personalised option.

Wedding and Civil Partnership celebrations

Understanding what is special to you and what matters most is the focus for creating your ceremony. Your story can be a great place to start.  There are no restrictions on the type of ceremony you can have, it can include all the traditions, modern twists, religious content, humour or something completely alternative, bold and real. Your ceremony can take place day or night, indoor or outdoor and doesn't have to be in a licensed venue. If you've dreamt of a wedding celebration on a beach, at your family home or at the place you first met  you can have it.  Total freedom.

Each ceremony is bespoke and unique to you, perfect for couples who want something authentic and true to your style . To give you some ideas you could include some of the following in your ceremony.

  • Vows - Choosing your vows together or writing personalised vows as a surprise is a beautiful way to declare your love for each other.

  • Exchanging Rings - Exchanging gifts or rings can be a central part of the ceremony. I can carry out a blessing or warming of the rings to add a symbolic meaning to the exchange.

  • Readings and Readers - It can be really fun spending time selecting readings and asking a close friend or relative to be part of your ceremony. Don't worry if you don't have the time to find a reading you love I can help make selections for you.

  • Singing and Performances - From hymns to your life mix tape adding a song to ceremony will get all your guests joining in.

  • Symbolism - I am well rehearsed in the following symbolic acts; lighting unity candles, sand ceremonies, hand-fasting, jumping the broom, oathing stones and Quaich (drinking cup) ceremonies. All acts can be personalised and I can include faith rituals or create a unique act fitting your style.

I hope this gives you some inspiration. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements.

“We really can’t recommend Lisa highly enough. From the moment we met her, over a coffee, we felt we were in safe hands. She took the time to really get to know us and created the perfect wedding ceremony for us. All the words were very personal and touching and she helped make our day extra special. Lisa really is a lovely person and a fabulous celebrant. Thank you so much Lisa, you really are the best at what you do!”

Vow Renewals

A vow renewal is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your existing marriage or civil partnership. You might want to celebrate a special anniversary or milestone with a vow renewal. A personalised ceremony will be created with your input so you can make new memories and once again publicly declare your love for each other.

Maybe you didn't have the day of your dreams when you first married, so why not do it again in style.

There are no rules when it comes to renewing your vows.

Services for a vow renewal are from £375.

Lisa's personal and unique style means she will adapt your day to really make your personalities stand out. Above all though Lisa will really connect with you to ensure she encapsulates exactly what you want. If you want ideas then Lisa is your lady she is full of them and these add to making your day so special. The main thing that drew me to Lisa was how individual her ceremonies are and all of our guests commented on this too. Lots of ceremonies can be predictable which is fine if you want that however if like us you want something no one has seen before then Lisa has it all. I'd recommend Lisa don't hesitate and give her a call.

Commitment ceremonies

You may decide you don't want to make a legal commitment to each other by marriage or civil partnership but do want to publicly declare your love. If this is true, then a commitment ceremony is for you.

As with weddings celebrations and vow renewals the central theme will be about celebrating your love and unity as a couple. This can be formally or informally delivered with a personalised ceremony to suit your needs.

If you have children, a commitment ceremony can signify the unity of a new family. There are many ways to celebrate this family unity with promises to step children and symbolic acts.

Services for a commitment ceremony are from £400

It's important to remember one point -  a celebrant ceremony is not legally binding therefore you will need to arrange your legal paperwork separately from any wedding ceremony I create for you. You can legally marry or have a civil partnership at your local registry office before this ceremony which you can simply arrange with two witnesses.
